I-ACS® is a hosted video and access control solution, so there are no servers or extra computers required at your location. During a crime, onsite video recorders are often stolen or destroyed by the culprits. I-ACS® eliminates this vulnerability, removing the possibility that video footage can be destroyed by a burglar at your location. A hosted video solution guarantees that your recorded videos are safe. However, I-ACS® can be hosted on your own hardware at your location if you so choose.

Because of the high percentage of false alarms, police in many jurisdictions now require verification of any alarm they receive. Since I-ACS®'s event-activated video surveillance system is fully integrated into the access control system, video is stored from five to ten seconds before the triggered event - capturing not only footage of the moment the potential crime occurs, but of those crucial few moments before the crime is actually committed providing the best possible chance that real-time video verification of the suspect can be provided to police.
